Answer 1
(1) What is answer 1 to your EQ? Be specific in your answer and write it like a thesis statement.
Play therapy is one of the ways to psychologically treat abused children. It allows them to express their feeling while doing something they know how to do very well, play.
(2) What possible evidence do you have to support this answer?
Since children are playing, they are in their comfort zone. Therefore, they express themselves easier, and they don't feel uncomfortable. According to the Play Therapy Association of the United States, Aristotle and Plato once reflected on the importance of play in our lives. When children feel like they are doing something that they know how to do, without thinking that it's therapy they use the toys as words to express what they are feeling which is easier, not only for the child but also for the therapists. It is easier to understand what the child is feeling.
(3) What source(s) did you find this evidence and/or answer?
http://www.a4pt.org/ps.index.cfm?ID=1653 and that is main type of therapy that my service learning place uses, so I have learned several things about play therapy.

Self Reflection
1. So far, I feel like I am doing a P job. Although on my research checks I do go above and beyond, I feel like I have only done what has been required from me with everything else.
2. One thing that I feel that I've done well is my research checks. I feel like I have really learned many things about my topic and in the long run, for my two-hour, all this information will help me.
3. One thing that I would like to improve is getting everything that I need prepared on time. For example, my second interview.

Science Fair Proposal
1. If families live in a low income city, then they are more likely to be child abuse victims.
2. Dependent component is the number of abuse victims, the independent component manipulating the city's income levels, and the control would be the child abuse.
3. My EQ is what is the best way to treat a child that has been abused? For my experiment, I'm going to collect data from reported child abuse cases from different cities with different income averages, and find if income in a family has anything to do with child abuse. The way that they connect is that to treat a child you need to know where the most cases are reported, meaning that there are more children that need a therapist/psychologist in that area.
4. I will find some of my data in the Bureau of Economic Analysis, which will provide me with the different city income levels. The Bureau of Justice Statistics will provide me some of the information about the child abuse reports made and in what cities the reports were made. With this data, I will see if there is some kind of correlation between city income and the number of child abuse reports. This experiment will allow me to decide if there are certain cities that need more help with their child abuse victims.
5. This experiment would be under Behavioral Science.
