The Product

So far, I feel as though my senior project has given me insight of other people's lives. It has opened up my eyes to the fact that life isn't all good things, but bad things as well. I am now more sympathetic to other people, especially towards children because in my research I have learned one of the symptoms that are seen in abused children is that they tend to have trouble creating relationships with other people. In my service learning and in different volunteering that I have done, I have interacted with many kids. These kids are all different, some were sweet, others were smart, some were funny, and others were just too quiet to know anything about them. When it came down to those kids I felt the need to give a little more attention to them because I felt as though they needed it. People never know what is going on in another person's life, they usually judge or do things to make their life impossible. I have learned to not be so much like this and be more understanding of other people's lives and experiences.
